DISINSECTION OR HOUSEHOLD PEST CONTROL
The main household pests that Faminer OÜ deals with are cockroaches, fleas, shaft louse, bed bugs, various moths, silverfish, ants, wasps, etc. If necessary, we also deal with all other insects that cause trouble and problems, regardless of whether they are flying or crawling insects.
In most cases, it is the search for food and shelter that leads pests to invade people’s living and household spaces.
The main damages caused by household pests are:
- They cause both physical and mental ailments to people, i.e. in the form of bites (fleas, bedbugs, shaft louses, etc.) and their presence.
- Spread of bacterial, viral and fungal diseases. For example, cockroaches spread the following diseases: salmonella, typhus, gastroenteritis, etc. Their droppings can also cause eczema and asthma.
- Contaminate people’s food and living environment with their droppings.
- They damage people’s things (clothes moths, larder beetle, etc.), dwellings (furniture beetle, longhorn beetle, ants), foodstuffs (Indianmeal moth), etc.
The most basic thing when fighting household pests is hygiene. Prevent their access to food, water and hiding places. Prevent access to your residence by sealing access openings.
Coming back from a trip, if you suspect that you may have brought unwanted guests with you, wash/heat the clothes and items you brought with you.
If you are still unable to get rid of household pests on your own, we can help you with a professional service. We offer services to both private and commercial customers.
In the fight against household pests, we use, as needed and as requested by the customer:
- Pheromone traps
- Gel feeds
- Spraying with insecticide
- UV lamps for flying insects, equipped with special adhesive papers
Choosing a specific control method depends on the type of building, its intended use, the type of insect and also the size of the insect population. We only use insecticides intended for professional pest control and approved for use in Estonia, which are safe for both humans and pets.
